Contributions to the theory of anisotropic intermolecular interactions and lattice dynamics in solid hydrogen (1977-79).
My PhD Thesis (1978) in Theoretical Physics
Work carried out in 1975-78 at the University of Toronto, Canada

Inclusion of the quantum-crystal effects, such as the large zero-point motion of molecules in the crystal ground state, strongly influences the orientation-dependent molecular interactions. My work has had an impact on the current understanding of the microwave and nuclear magnetic resonance spectra of solid para-H 2 with admixtures of ortho-H 2 molecules.
