A wireless link will provide real time sensors data at the base workstation. The entire team will be able to monitor the KA1000 on the fly; thus avoiding waiting for the copilot to bring the laptop after the car has been driven. A cellular phone will enable the EV team aid the pilot to better drive the car.
I simulated with ACCOLADEÒ a wireless Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum Communications link to be built and installed in the KA1000 Electric Vehicle. I studied time and frequency domain responses of the DSSS link in presence of additive WGN, Jammer Corruption, and Radar Interference.
