Please Read Followings in details:

1) copy all the image files from ~murali/pics to your home directory
		type "cp -r ~murali/pics ."
2) try the image displaying softwares such as "xxv", and "image tool"
	on those image files
		a) xxv:
			display rasterfiles ("*.ras"), not headerless files ("*.256")
			type "xxv" and play around
		b) image tool:
			Openwindow tool
			main menu on window background ---> programs ---> image tool
